slice the tofu and fry until golden brown and set aside
- Heat the oil. Add the onion. Ginger, and garlic
- Slice the Chinese cabbage into strips
- Stir in the Chinese cabbage and cook about 10 minutes or until the cabbage is slightly wilted
- Stir in the fried tofu
- In small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, salt and pepper
- Pour the sauce over the tofu and Chinese cabbage and stir to coat everything evenly. Cook 2-3 minutes or until the sauce is thickened
- Season with red pepper flakes
- Serve with white rice
